Troubleshoot a widget that does not appear

Check the script, approved origin, visibility rules, and browser console in a safe order.

Check the installation in order

An origin is the scheme, host, and optional port. A path is not part of the origin. Add staging and production as separate entries.

  1. Confirm the AppsResolve script is present in the rendered page source.
  2. Confirm the organization identifier matches the active workspace.
  3. Confirm the page origin exactly matches an approved origin, including the scheme and port.
  4. Check whether mobile, desktop, include, exclude, or delay rules hide the launcher.
  5. Reload without browser extensions and review the console for a configuration error.

If the launcher appears but content does not

Verify that the organization is active and has at least one published customer-facing article. Contact intake can still work without articles, but the Help Center will show an empty state.

Share a safe diagnostic

Send AppsResolve the page origin, approximate time, organization name, and the visible error code. Do not send passwords, full session tokens, payment data, or private customer content.
