Customize the support widget

Adjust the welcome text, contact form, appearance, topics, and behavior while keeping useful defaults.

Start with the basics

Set the welcome heading, contact wording, optional response expectation, and search placeholder. The live preview shows how those choices look before you save them.

Reveal advanced controls only when needed

Saving the defaults is valid. You do not need to change every field before the widget can be installed.

  • Popular topics controls which published articles appear first.
  • Contact form controls topics and optional or required fields.
  • Appearance controls color mode, accent, launcher label, and position.
  • Behavior controls where and when the launcher appears.
  • Security and data controls allowed origins and collected context.

Preview before publishing

Use the persistent desktop preview or the full-screen mobile preview. Check the home screen, Help Center search, a long article, the contact form, validation, and the success state.
